Weekly Update - 09/06/07

Abbie had her four month appointment at the pediatrician today. She is growing very well and her stats are: weight - 11 lbs 12.5 ounces (30th percentile), length - 24 1/7 inches (50th percentile) and head circumference - 41 cm (30th percentile). She has reached all the expected developmental milestones for her age and the doctor is pleased with how she is doing. She got three more shots today but is doing fine now - I think it might be harder on mom seeing her in pain getting the shots :-). She continues to melt the hearts of mom and dad with all her smiles. She started giggling quite a bit recently and we posted a video of that on Mon. Sep. 3rd (the video is dark but you can hear her giggling). Dad had fun with another project as he recently put together Abbie's new toy - an Exersaucer. She enjoys playing in the Exersaucer and mom and dad love repeatedly hearing that apples are red :-) - there's also a video of Abbie playing in the Exersaucer that was posted on Sat. Sep. 1st. She is drooling quite a bit but there are no signs of teeth coming in yet.

From now on, I will no longer be tracking how many weeks old Abbie is on the blog and plan to to make one weekly update. The weekly update will probably be posted on Thursdays since that is one of the days I don't work.
